The CUTEST Dog Moments at Weddings

June 9, 2020

Furry friends are the BEST on your wedding day!

The dog days are over, but why? Having the family dog attend the big day is something we’ve seen so many couples do. Trust us, you won’t regret it.  A dog can bring so much personality and love to the wedding. It’s like having another member of the family there. Still on the fence? Watch our compilation of the cutest dog moments we’ve caught at weddings!

A lot of the cutest dog moments at weddings come from the pup’s role in your day. However, there are so many different jobs that your goodest boy can do. Let us break it down for you. First, you’ve got Dog of Honor or Best Dog (man’s best friend, make’s sense). Let your furry friend walk down the aisle with your bridal party. Next, you’ve got your Flower Dog or Ring Bearer (not the job for dogs who like to run off, thank us later). Some couples even like for their pup to escort them down the aisle as they make their grand entrance!

We’ve noticed that a dog can bring an element of relaxation to the wedding day as well. Even the most chilled out couples can get stressed on the big day. Your wedding day is a huge milestone in your life, and you only get one chance to get everything perfect. Bringing your dog to your wedding can be so mellowing, especially when all you can think about is how your linens look more lime green than dusty sage. It’s actually been proven that playing with dogs can elevate levels of serotonin and dopamine in the brain, causing you to feel more relaxed, so there you go… it’s science.

When it all comes down to it, dogs are a part of the family too, so why shouldn’t they be a part of the most special day of your life?
