701 WHALEY

First, we’ve got 701 Whaley! We’re regulars at 701 for a good reason, it’s an amazing place to get married! This wedding venue is a Columbia classic because it radiates that historical contemporary vibe that the Vista has. This is mainly because it used to be the company store for Columbia’s five textile mills. Their famous speckled walls will give your wedding day that historical-chic feel for sure.

THE MILLSTONE AT ADAM’S POND

Next we’ve got The Millstone at Adam’s Pond! If you want a wedding surrounded by Columbia’s flora and fauna, Adam’s Pond is the venue for you. This venue hosts its weddings immersed in the garden with views of the massive pond that sits on the property. There’s also a charming estate on the grounds that dates back to the 1700s so your wedding can go down in history…no lie.

1208 WASHINGTON PLACE

So we’ve covered historical meets contemporary, historical southern charm, we now give you historical glamour. At number three we’re giving it to 1208 Washington Place. Elegant crystal chandeliers, enormous columns, and did we mention the giant vault? 1208 was actually built in 1924 and used to be First National Bank. Sleek and stylish, there was no question that 1208 was going on our list.

CENTRAL ENERGY

In fourth we’d like to (energetically) present, Central Energy! For the minimalist couple, this space has a large open floor plan that can stand as a blank canvas for you to make your own. If you’re wondering why it’s called Central Energy, it’s because the building once powered the former S.C. State Hospital. We’ve just gotta say, the power this place is supplying, it’s electrifying.

FOREST LAKE CLUB

And last but certainly not least in our list of Columbia’s Top 5 Wedding Venues and that venue is…Forest Lake Club! Two words, high-class. At the Forest Lake Club you have views of the golf course and the water so the scenery of the venue is absolutely stunning. Inside the club is a massive event space with a dance floor, crystal chandeliers, and enormous windows so you don’t lose the view inside. This place is an incredible venue to host your wedding.
