As the summertime approaches, all we can say is ’tis the sea-son for beach weddings! This couple’s Southport Beach Wedding made some serious waves…sea what we did there.
Erin and Steve’s Southport Beach Wedding was the definition of coastal glam. The couple married last summer at St. James Plantation with gorgeous access to Southport Beach. The day was decorated with pastel blues, golds, and blushes to capture the colors of the coast. Erin and Steve said their I-Do’s in a very intimate ceremony, then headed to the beach with the wedding party for some incredible pictures on the water with us and Amanda Somerville Photography. St. James even has their own marina where the couple watched the boats come in and out for the day as they got ready to start the rest of their lives together.
When all of the pictures were finished, everyone headed off to the reception to start the night. Erin and Steve’s friends and family had really intimate things to say about the couple, and it was the perfect way to start off the party. The couple had a beautiful white-tiered wedding cake with black trim, that had a little Erin and Steve statue at the top… adorable. As the music turned up, so did the guests. Eric Thompson with Atlantic Premier Entertainment really had the crowd pumped up. There were colorful lights and lasers that highlighted all of Erin and Steve’s friends and family on the dance floor. Finally, to close the night out, Erin and Steve made their getaway through the tunnel of sparklers, with everyone cheering them on. Can we get a shell yeah?
